I am an out-of-network provider. Patients pay agreed-upon fees directly to me and then may seek reimbursement from their insurance company by submitting my invoice. Insurance plans tend to offer some level of reimbursement for psychotherapy, but plans vary in terms of their rates of reimbursement, whether they cover a limited or unlimited number of sessions, and other specifics. If you plan to submit my invoices for reimbursement from your insurer, you may want to call your insurer prior to our meeting to inquire about whether and how much they reimburse for psychotherapy services with an out-of-network licensed clinical psychologist, and other details regarding your plan and coverage.
