Services

I offer individual, couples, and group psychotherapy for adults. While people come to therapy with me for all kinds of different reasons, most people I work with seek to address stress, anxiety, depression, and/or relationship issues. People also come to therapy with me following stressful events or life changes.

I also have a particular interest and expertise in reproductive psychology, focusing on treatment related to issues such as infertility, pregnancy loss, pregnancy complications, and postpartum adjustment. The experiences of becoming a parent and having a baby are often viewed as joyful, yet also represent overwhelming life transitions and role transformations, during which psychotherapy can be quite helpful.

In addition to psychotherapy, I also offer consultations to individuals and couples seeking to become parents with the assistance of donor gametes.

Groups

Fertility Treatment Support Group
This is a group for individuals and couples considering or currently participating in fertility treatments, including but not limited to IUI, IVF, and working with a gestational carrier. The group has two main areas of focus: 1. Providing a safe space to express feelings and find that others share them and 2. Learning and practicing skills that help in coping with the stress associated with these processes, such as mindfulness meditation and relaxation techniques.

New Parents’ Support Group
This group is open to individuals and couples who have had a baby (or babies) within the past year. The focus will be on providing validation of the more challenging feelings associated with this tremendous life transition and mutual support. Additionally, members will be taught coping skills and will be able to exchange information on experiences, techniques, services, and products they’ve found helpful/unhelpful.
